Yash Raj Films recently released the War teaser, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. They are going full choke on each other. The 54-second teaser has both of them fighting their shit out in the snowy mountains, in the dusty fields and even in the air. There are Helicopters, bazookas and adrenaline-pumping fist-fighting scenes.

Action, Action & Lots of Action

The trailer was carefully framed so as to avoid any plot hints but it was successful in taking focus at the core of the movie: Action. Hrithik and Tiger are both known for their great physique and fitness, and seeing them going full throttle on each other is very interesting.

War Teaser: Hollywood Connections

One small detail most of you must have missed is that the actions sequences are choreographed by Hollywood Action directors Andy Armstrong (The Amazing Spiderman, Planet of the Apes) and Korea’s Mr. Oh (Avengers: Age of Ultron). Now we know why the trailer is giving us vibes of Mission Impossible and Fast & Furious. We still don’t know if War is a remake of any Hollywood movie, but it is surely going to be a roller coaster of action sequences.

Dhoom Again?

Apart from foreign locations, the bike sequences and the suspense filled background music surely gave us a hint of the typical old school Dhoom.

Typical Eye Candy Female Character

This is the thing about Bollywood, so typical about writing the female character. There were hardly 3 seconds of Vaani Kapoor in the 53 second teaser. It clearly depicted her as an eye candy and a love interest. While the men are fighting in air, land, snow and using bazookas and what not, Vaani is shown sunbathing in Bikini and dancing.  Give female actors better characters to play, please.

Tiger & Hrithik Sharing the Screen for the First Time

For the first time we will see Hrithik and Tiger share screen space, and we surely can’t wait for it. Tiger has said earlier that Hrithik is his idol and that he was very nervous while shooting the film.

Hrithik is also excited to do an action film with Tiger.  In a GQ interview he said, “After doing movies like Kaabil and Super 30, I needed a force that would drive me to be my best. I was getting too complacent, and I felt only Tiger had the power to stand in front of me. Make me look like a piece of sh*t. I don’t think anyone else would’ve ignited me the way he has.”
