The Pose

- You may try to lean against a wall or try to false walk. Those are some interesting poses.
Positioning The Hands
- You can try and put one hand in your pant or coat pocket. With this hand position, it’s good to place your other hand on the opposite shoulder or run it through your hair.
- You may try to place your hand on your face or chin.
- If you are wearing a full suit and tie, then you can place one hand to your tie. That is a classic and classy pose.
Facial Expression According To Pose
- Try to narrow your eyes with a little bit of a squint. Raise your bottom eyelids slightly in a squint.
- Remember not to raise your chin revealing your nostrils, but angle it downward. This will give you an intense look.
- Don’t smile big. It makes your mouth is spread wide, but don’t keep your lips pressed together. Let your lips widen only a little bit so that your teeth can be seen.
Where To Look?
- Look away from the camera. You can try to above the camera or just sideways. That gives a candid edge to the photo.
- If you want a serious photo, you should look directly into the camera.
