 Action, romance, comedy, drama and perhaps all the genres in Bollywood have undergone massive changes in past few years. Gone are the days when a Bollywood hero would be seen chasing his lady love for two hours straight or fighting with the lecherous villain for more than half of the movie. Male actors these days have been discovering different roles which were never touched upon before. Lets us see which of the male actors are currently nailing it in Bollywood.

Kartik Aaryan

While other male actors have been doing a serious role, Aaryan decided to achieve fame in comedy. The Pyar ka Punchnama trilogy has made this Gwalior guy famous in Bollywood quite fast. For instance, take his famous monologues. The ranting about the miserable state of a man in love in Pyar ka Punchnama is impressive. With long jaw lines and cute smile he has a long queue of female fans crushing over him. His role in Luka Chuppi as a news reporter agreeing to his girlfriend’s idea of being in a live-in relationship and the troubles they had to face were clearly vivid in Aaryan’s acting skills.

This 31 year old man has been exploring types of roles and unanimously portraying nothing but excellence on-screen. The funky, irresponsible, immature DJ in Manmarziyaan. The ordinary Varanasi lad Deepak who comes to know about the death of his girlfriend while burning her on the funeral pyre himself in Masaan. The IT guy from Netflix’s Love Per Square Foot who dreams of owning his house in Mumbai. Kaushal’s acting goes beyond words. Even as army officers in URI and Raazi his characters had been very different from one another. Nowadays, this Punjabi munda is seen on the cover pages of Vogue India.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

There are mainstream heroes who do the action, romance, comedy and what not. And then there are men like Siddiqui who does one film which leaves an indelible imprint for days. Their characters act as muse for writers and poets. He isn’t the charming face audience generally looks for or would hoot in a cinema hall at his dialogues. Nonetheless, you would remember him especially for his exquisite personality in all the roles and his unparalleled acting skills. Manjhi in the Manjhi –The Mountain Man, Rafi in Photograph, the Pakistani poet Saadat Hasan Manto in the movie Manto, in Badlapur as Liak Tungrekar, Faizal Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2 and in many other movies in all these years, Siddiqui showed us how does it feel to win hearts while not being a throughout hero.

Deepika Padukone’s husband hasn’t left the limelight even after being the married guy now. His versatility in roles – demonic rage of the villain as Alauddin Khilji to the guy from the slums in Gully Boy. The conman in Lootera to the next door guy in Band Baaja Baaraat. He has perhaps mastered all types of characters in all these years. He is an amazingly loving husband with a quirky sense of dressing and styling. This real life fun loving hero has indeed shown immense depth in his films. His assorted sense of styling. In fact, made him reach the photoshoot of Vogue Italia brimming with hotness.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann had perhaps sworn to break stereotypes through the characters that he chose to play all the years. In Vicky Donor, he took up the profession of donating sperms; Article 15 is about standing up for Dalits against the prejudiced society. In Dum Lage Ke Haisha he transformed from a boy who body-shamed someone to who couldn’t stop loving his plump wife. The writer in Meri Pyaari Bindu gave us a lover who literally loved without conditions.
