Partying Vs Priorities

Do you work full time, 9-5 or more? Do you sometimes work overtime and sometimes also on Saturdays? Then you have come to the right place. This article is about everything that is wrong about the invisible pressure of going out and partying on weekends. Our society has drawn some invisible rules about socializing and this is harming us than causing anything good. I am not saying you should quit going out altogether but yes with time you should learn your priorities. There are things that you should start to be concerned about, it’s all about learning priorities Here are the reasons why partying is a bad idea and what you can do instead.

Money Matters

First of all, no matter how much you earn, there is nothing better than saving it up for something better and worthy is always a good idea. Think of all the money you can spend on the drinks and at the club, and think of what better ways you can spend it for the weekend. Spend this money to buy healthy food or gift for your parents, or just save it for later. You’re adulting, savings is a must.

Drinking Does No Good

Yes, many will argue with me on this by saying that you only live once,  What’s wrong with getting wasted once a week and so on. Let me explain, first you will drink, then get wasted, and that will end up as a hangover next day ie Sunday, and you will end up with no energy to do the necessary stuff for your survival. If you don’t get a hangover then you can get so much done on a Sunday. Clean up your place, do laundry, cook a healthy meal do some meditation and so on.

Being Responsible

Sunday is the only day when you are free to do anything and everything you wish. So maybe you can go to the grocery store to buy for the week, or have quite brunch with just yourself. Give the time to your body so that it can feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Let your senses feel calm unlike the rest of the week when you are running for work etc.

Meet People Who Matter More

Instead of partying with strangers and friends, spend time with people who matter more. You can visit your siblings, your parents or grandparents. Remember, they won’t be around always.

Spend Time For Yourself

Spend time doing something creative. Anything you like, singing, gardening, dancing, whatever you like. Being creative or just trying to do something different helps to keep your mind healthy and stress-free. You can also sign up for a massage, swimming or spa. Or try some meditation for stress release. It will help your overall productivity for the rest of the week.

Hope you had a great weekend 🙂
