Want to Follow a Diet Routine but don’t know which one??

Fitness and following a proper diet routine are of utmost concern these days. In any weight loss journey, diet contributes almost 60% while the rest of it is contributed by workouts.

1. Vegan Diet

A vegan diet contains only plants (such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits) and foods made from plants. Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs. It is rich in certain nutrients and reduces the chances of heart related problems, reduces weight faster, improves kidney function and help you with Arthritis.

2. Paleo Diet

There is no one “right” way to have a Paleo diet since it includes fruits, meat and vegetables. It majorly depends on what was available at the time and where in the world they lived. Some ate a low-carb diet high in animal foods, while others followed a high-carb diet with lots of plants. You can adapt all of this to your own personal needs and preferences.

Eat: Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, healthy fats and oils.

Avoid: Processed foods, sugar, soft drinks, grains, most dairy products, legumes, artificial sweeteners, vegetable oils, margarine and trans fats.

3. Mediterranean Diet

The Mediterranean diet blends the basics of healthy eating with the traditional flavors and cooking methods of the Mediterranean.. The Mediterranean diet is based on the traditional foods that people used to eat in countries like Italy and Greece back in 1960. Here, you will have to live on mostly vegetables and eat as less meat as possible but not eliminate it altogether. This diet has proven worthy in depression, weight loss and maintain blood sugar level. Oil should be used as much as possible in place of butter. Chicken should also be substituted with fish as much as possible. Nuts, whole grains and herbs are also advised in big amounts.

4. Raw Food Diet

This diet mainly focuses on having uncooked and unprocessed food. This diet also advises not to have any produced or pasteurised products that use additives or synthetics of any type. Raw food diet has least amount of carcinogen in food and thus is able to form surge in energy.

5. Ketogenic Diet

A Ketogenic (Keto) diet is where you need to stop having carbohydrate in your daily meal and instead have as much fat as you want. Good fats like coconuts, avocados, seeds, oily fish, Brazilian nuts, olive oil etc are added to food. This diet has proved beneficial for diabetes control, weight loss, epilepsy etc.
